Teacher's Day with @teacherishappy
Here at St Frock, we love our teachers and their too-cool-for-school style! We had a chat with Sarah Sainty from @teacherishappy about her fun school style and love of teaching!
What is your favourite thing about teaching and why?
Seeing a child finally get something they’ve been working hard for. The first time my kids who are English Additional Language/ Dialect learners spoke in front of their class in English, I cried.
How long have you been teaching for?
3 years and loving it!
What do you like to do for fun on the weekends and during the school holidays?
I love hanging out with my friends and family, going to lunch, doing craft, singing and making YouTube videos!
What are the looks or your favourite styles you like to wear in the classroom?
I think it’s important to have pieces you can dress up or dress down so you don’t have to have two separate wardrobes (work and weekend). It’s fun to have a play around, my job isn’t overly serious so I can wear crazy prints and I also need (somewhat) comfort because I’m getting up and down off the floor all day!
What are some of your favourite casual daytime looks?
Overalls or playsuits are simple and fun. Easy to run around and do errands but you still look cute!
What do you wear on a night out? Do you have any tips when putting an outfit together?
I’m so lame, I don’t have many nights out (teacher tired makes you go to bed at 8pm). But when I need to be dressy I pretty much just add heels and big earrings to my regular wardrobe!

What are your favourite styles from St Frock’s collection and why?
I’m particularly obsessed with my Meilani pants from the new collection but anything with prints, frills and flares. I want my clothes to match my personality. My work is so fun and my wardrobe should be too!
