PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To ensure we can bring you gorgeous styles we naturally need to collect information necessary to operate our business and provide the goods and services you require.

We collect your personal information directly from you when you interact with us via our websites, apps, social media, telephone, emails, chats or as otherwise permitted by law. We may also collect personal information about you from third parties.

Following are some examples of personal information we may collect from you and how we collect that information:

When you browse, create an account or place an order on our websites or apps:

  • information about your online browsing behaviour on our websites and apps as well as items you have added to your wishlist and cart
  • your contact details and delivery address
  • information about the payment method you use to purchase from us - note we do not store your payment method details unless you request this using  the “save my information for a faster checkout” checkbox in the payment section of checkout, and if you do these will be held in our secure, encrypted systems
  • information about your orders and purchases, including what, how, and when you buy from us
  • like many websites, tracking technologies, such as "cookies", are used to obtain certain types of information such as application activities, current location of your device, type and version of your browser, your device ID and other device metrics when you visit our websites or apps
  • images that you provide to facilitate a return request
  • device specific information we collect via our websites or apps such as the current location of your device, type and version of your browser and, your device ID and other device metrics, as allowed by your device permissions.

When you subscribe via the website footer:

  • your name and email address

When you request a back in stock alert:

  • your email address

When you purchase a gift card from us:

  • your contact details
  • your gift card number
  • balance on the gift card and its transaction history

When you enter a lead generation promotion within Facebook:

  • your name
  • your contact details

When you contact us or we contact you to take part in competitions, promotions, testimonials, reviews, surveys or make other enquiries:

  • your contact details
  • the content of online communications with you, including competitions, promotions, feedback, reviews, ratings, comments and images included on any of our websites, apps or social media pages or any of our other digital services
  • an electronic copy of the written communication or voice recording of the conversation
  • we may also collect data from you via our social media accounts - by submitting content, you agree that we may use this content and information subject to this privacy policy

Other sources:

From time to time we may also collect personal information about you from other sources to help us supplement our records, improve the personalisation of our service to you, provide services to third parties and detect fraud.

For example, we may collect personal information from:

  • information service providers to improve data quality e.g. we validate addresses with Australia Post to improve your delivery experience
  • financial services organisations for fraud prevention.

HOW WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We take the protection of your personal information seriously. We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind.

Any personal information we hold is generally stored electronically in computers or cloud systems operated by us or by our service providers. We implement a range of information security measures and encryption protocols when we handle your personal information to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

We protect your payment card details with encryption methods. We ask that you not include your full card details when you communicate with us via email or chat messages. If we have to make a reference to your credit card number, we will only refer to the last four digits in any form of written communications.

We do not and will not sell your data or information provided to us to a third party.

We may share your information with our third party providers to help us serve you with relevant and engaging communication, and to understand how we can improve our website offering for you. Unless explicit consent is received from you, these third parties will never contact you or use your data independently.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your email address & first name to send you marketing and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe for these emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails, or by signing into your St Frock account and managing the subscription preferences in your account. We use your name, address, business (if provided), phone number, email address and items purchased at checkout to ship and keep a record of your order with us. We also use this information for reporting and auditing purposes.

We use your email address and name on a product restock request to let you know when the item you have requested is back in stock.

We use the information collected in your My Account page to understand your contact preferences and details.

We use your IP address to understand where you are accessing our site from,  to show you the most relevant content and to screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

We use your cookies to remember your browsing preferences and understand how you’re using our website – for example what pages of our site you are visiting and how long you are spending on our site.

We also use your cookies to promote our product and brand to you once you have left our website - this includes being served our ads on social media and the web, and also being emailed abandoned cart reminder emails to complete your checkout.

    SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

    We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above.     Finally, we may also share your personal iInformation to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

    DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA

    Some of our technology service providers may be located or use locations outside of Australia.

    Where we share personal information overseas, we take steps to ensure that our service providers protect this personal information in accordance with Australian legal requirements and that they are only permitted to use personal information for the purpose for which it is shared. 

    Our service providers or their data storage servers may be located, and may store your personal information from time to time, in a number of countries, including Canada, India and the United States.

    BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

    We use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.     MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

    Our email subscribe checkbox at check-out is pre-ticked. If you would prefer not to receive marketing  emails from us please untick this box, or see below for information on how to unsubscribe.

    If you no longer want to receive marketing emails from St Frock, you can unsubscribe by:

    • Clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a marketing email we have sent to you; or
    • Logging in to your St Frock account, navigating to My Details within your account dashboard, and updating your preferences; or

    If you no longer want to receive marketing SMS messages from St Frock, you can unsubscribe by:

    • Replying “STOP” to a SMS marketing SMS we have sent to you; or

    ACCESSING OR CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

    You can access or correct your personal information in your account at any time by logging in here.

    Alternatively, If you would like a copy of the information we hold about you or If you would like to correct your personal information please contact us at hello@stfrock.com.au and we’ll be happy to help. Before we provide you with access to your personal information we may require proof of identity.

    CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
